The Fishing Federation of the Hérault was created in 1969. They deliver fishing licences, and also act as fishing police and do work in favour of aquatic biodiversity. They give courses which allow people to discover, through demonstration and advice, the fishing universe and to make them sensitive to protecting the aquatic milieu.
